Built to fit all ‘Gen 3’ chassis, this refreshed seat has built in lumbar support and improved scapula space, meaning a more conformable and body-conforming fit. It is made of an epoxy resin-infused carbon fibre, meaning it is strong yet flexible enough to suit your ‘Gen 3’ trike or bike. This seat has been modified due to riding experience, as repeated rider comments expressed the existing seat compromised their ability for optimal power output as they were sliding backwards in the seat. This seemed especially true for people with short to mid-size torsos. Padding for comfort can still be used on the Trilogy refreshed seat with the moulding features providing great lower back support.
Two types of seats are currently available, the ‘regular’ and the ‘ultra light’. Both are made the same way however, the ultra light has less fiber, making it lighter for racing.
Please note, although still strong, the ultra light is more malleable than the regular and has a maximum rider weight of 80kg.
